Austrian elections -see our recommended research resources



Elections took place in Austria on the 29th september. Here are some places where you can find more information.

IFES has a useful election guide with facts and figures on turnout and results.
Official results can be viewed on the website of the Federal Ministry of the Interior
The Austrian National Election study website conducts research into voting behaviour and attitudes. Its website has information and a section where data can be downloaded.

European Elections Monitor has some analysis this covers all elections from 2002 onwards
The monkey cage blog has a pre elections report from 3 Austrian political scientists
Sylvia Kritzinger, Michael Lewis-Beck, and Eva Zeglovits, authors of The Austrian Voter.
